Sarah Swanson will share basic information about IPS and then lead a discussion about employment as a social determinant of health, how to help individuals consider employment, and the role of mental health practitioners in IPS.
Focus:
This session will include a brief review of the IPS Practice Principles, why employment is beneficial to the health of most clients, and how to engage individuals in conversations to help them consider the role of employment in their lives. The presenter will also share tools for mental health practitioners.
